fox tails in the night
the crows at dawn
shadows on the snow
a soft crunch under worn boots
deep deer tracks
and
a bracing wind
Drifting Words
words drifted—
brittle and dry
Hope
the winter sun seeps through brittle leaves
and hope rises
Falling
my thoughts fell silently,
quietly–
in a soft, early morning hush
Breaking
winter strips everything down, reduces and refines —
the silhouette, the shadow, a breaking dawn, a fading dusk,
the whisper and the howl
Happy Christmas
These are difficult and trying times. I’ve had very little to say in the past several months, so this tiny blog has been quiet. Today I send out thoughts of hope, of peace, of healing, and of health for all. Be well my friends, Happy Christmas and Feliz Ano Nuevo.
