Light in the darkness is the greatest of gifts. (Usually. There are times when it is the greatest of horrors. But not in this photograph.) Beautiful.

This excerpt is from a book of historical fiction about Lee Miller, who was Man Ray’s assistant and muse but was also an excellent photographer in her own right. Although a work of fiction, it inspired me to learn more about Lee Miller’s work. Thanks for stopping by my friend.
