ferns quietly unfurling,
fallen petals and tiny sleeping fawns,
shadows on rocks and on thoughts
Weeds and Flowers
one person’s weeds,
are another person’s flowers
Rusty
she is rusty, worn, tired—
and still,
beautiful
Lately
tulips and roses and hot pink carnations,
books and puzzles and jars of fig honey,
gnomes and unicorns and blue lava lamps
Joy
joy can be found in unexpected places
