I try to imagine what this lake looks like in the winter. The stillness and depth of Canadian snows, the bitter wind blowing across the frozen water, all just a distantly whispered memory on this blushing evening in July.
I understand. I actually like the winter, but the last winter we had was bitterly cold and very long. Our spring was rainy and cool. So far we’ve had one month of warmth and sun. Sigh.
Yes, the rose colors were really magnificent. I have another shot that includes two docks and the colors are more purple than pink. The shots were taken minutes apart. The colors were changing quickly.
