filled with bracing snow,
soft blankets and days of laughter, good friends and good coffee

a new year
with new paths–
filled with bracing snow,
soft blankets and days of laughter, good friends and good coffee

I hope everyone in the US had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I’m going to be taking some time off in the month of December, so I’ll be popping in here and there and hopefully be back to a full time schedule in January.
Be safe and warm and I’ll see you soon.

falling rain on mushrooms
black tea in the afternoon
tiny deer on tiny plates
yellow and red leaves on grass
cornbread in the oven
frost on the roof

seeing everything traced in frost, gives one the courage to welcome the changing seasons

her eyes seemed heavy as they fell to the quiet and the warmth and the promise of delicious dreams

I will be taking a blog break for a week or so.
Be well, and I’ll see you again soon.

you fell into my path
and I carried you to safety

there you were, in my dream last night,
and i recognized you,
and you recognized me–
when the night faded into day
and the light lifted us into consciousness–
I was still there,
but you were not
