Who could fail to embrace a season so beautiful and so fragile?

    1. The book is divided into seasons and I’m not finished with “Winter” yet as I’m trying to draw it out. I plan on reading it as the seasons in real life unfold for me. (It’s hard to read about summer on a day like today when the wind chill is below zero.) I’m enjoying this book because the writing is lovely and also I love the illustrations. A very treasured Christmas gift. You should definitely add it to your list!

      1. It would be tough to read about crows and summer on a wintry day. Currently, it is 0, with a wind chill of -10. When I went to bed, last night, it was -10 with a wind chill of -23. Just pulled the covers over my head. We have a wind chill warning until noon on Tuesday.

      2. Ugh…seems like it’s either 50 degrees when it should be 30 or it’s -23. My pup runs out into the cold and then can’t move. I have to physically go out and carry her back inside. So, yes I’m drawing out the “Winter” section of this book and will only move onto “Spring” in March. Be safe, stay warm!
