Oh thanks John. I’ve gone back and forth about how to finish the painting as I originally planned on some collage, but I’ve been distracted and now I’m getting used to it just as it is. We’ll see. 🙂
Juliet had 20 stones removed from her bladder on Monday. Here she is with an inflatable e-collar that she’s gotten out of 3 times. I’ve only put it on her when I couldn’t be literally staring at her and she’s managed to pull it off every time. She’s uncomfortable and anxious but hopefully by next week she’ll be much better. (and I’m giving up on the collar) Thank you for asking. 🙂
Oh noes, poor lil girl. I feel for you both and we’ll cross all fingers and paws here for her speedy recovery.
Friend of mine lost one of her dogs on monday. It looks like that day wasn’t good for dogs. Let’s ask for a refund!
That’s terrible, I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve heard people say that the reason they don’t have pets is because it’s so hard to loose them when they die. I completely sympathize with that feeling. We go to the ends of the earth to save them (and the ends of our bank accounts) and we love them so very much and yet their lives are so short. The love they give us is unconditional and they make life much richer, still, it is a tough journey.
I enjoyed your images Sylvia, a thought-provoking series. I’ve read in the comments about your pup and I hope she recovers quickly–curious and fun photo. I love the spent flower petals on the sheet music. And your painting is wonderful, bold and colorful. You have many talents…cheers.
I love your photos and painting, Sylvia! The colors are wonderful and my favorite. Your dog is so cute! 🥰
