I used to ride my Honda quad at night through the woods which was fun. Ya never know what you will see. Daylight is great for wandering around the woods and enjoying the trees swaying wildly in the wind. ☺️
Yes, the woods at night can be intimidating as so many predators come out then. I would not venture into the woods at night now in my life, but I’ll admit to doing it many years ago when I was young and fearless and reckless.
Landcare is an Australian movement started in the 1990’s. It is about community coming together to rehabilitate and restore damaged eco-systems. I was going to show you my Clarence Landcare web page but it’s getting a make over. This is the state web page FYI https://landcarensw.org.au/

I have had people tell me that they are afraid of the woods. So it’s interesting what we find intrinsically comforting or frightening.

You too! Back in the day, our gang liked to party (quietly) in a cemetery. Yeah, that was weird… 😂

Lovely photos Sylvia. It is good to know what I am.
Here we would probably call a number of people in the woods a Landcare Group 😀

Thank you Brian. I’ve never heard of a Landcare Group… I like that term, a group caring for the land, yes. 🙂
