Kind of a deer in the headlights look. Intense. Don’t know if I could handle it at 5:30 a.m. Sylvia, which is when I get up as well. Now the blue light of dawn and coffee I can handle just fine. And I would be glad to stare back at Vanessa if that were the only way I could get my coffee. 🙂 –Curt
Well truth be told, I was scrolling through photos on the internet with my coffee when I saw a photo of VBell and it reminded me of the book I got on her life and work last year, so I got it out and started paging through it. That painting wasn’t the first thing I saw, the photo on the computer was. That particular portrait has always struck me as so beautiful, but I can see now how the eyes are a little strange!
Nice image, Sylvia. We rise about the same time. Coffee time too. 😊

Given your intense blue eyes, Sylvia, I can see why the photo might capture your interest. 🙂 And there is nothing strange about your eyes. (grin)
