I don’t know what bird this feather belonged to, but you’re right, the markings are very beautiful. I might do a little research…. Magpies aren’t really seen here in Western Pennsylvania, I’m just not sure…..

The only feathers I usually see around here are from the numerous Guinea Fowl; also pretty spotted feathers. 🙂
Because of my struggles with depression, it’s always important for me to try to turn situations into positive thoughts whenever possible. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can’t, but still, good to persist.
Our local woods is a healing place for my wife and I. Recently: a chipmunk, a bumblebee, a little gartersnake, birdsong, gratitude. Loosen the grip of depression for a while. Thanks for sharing
