“Arthur had urged her to plunge her feet in a deep, swiftly running mountain stream to feel the rhythm of the water. Something about the proper young scholar suggested that he was not the free spirit he seemed to be. Georgia had kept her stockings on.”

It was a good read. I don’t think I would have personally liked either of them very much, although their talent was tremendous.

Good thing Georgia kept her stockings on. Plunging your feet in swift moving streams is not advised. 🙂

Peggy would have plunged her feet into the icy water, no question at all! 🙂 Especially if it was hot out and we had been hiking for miles. –Curt
