That moment on a frigid day
when February’s sun stretches–
touching the drifting snows
and the running river waters
with an embrace of a long-lost friend.
So lovely! You have great photos and they are matched up with nice poems that feel like they were written specifically for that photo! Keep it up! Following your blog is a pleasure!!
Sometimes I write and match up a photo to my writing. Often, I write directly for a certain photo. That’s why they seem to match so well. The photos inspire me to write. Thank you for following and for being so encouraging. 🙂
When I lived in a colder climate, I remember February as a first promise of warm weather, still 6 weeks and more away. As you say, this is what February brings, an embrace, a promise.
Very nicely said. 🙂

Exactly. The sunrise is earlier and the sunset is later. I saw a robin last week and the sun is visiting through the clouds more often.
