we have them in France, too and like you, I prefer the Latin term… 🙂 I also saw them in Iceland, quite surprising, but still gorgeous! 🙂

They can be so spectacular. The color on this one was stunning. Interesting that they would grow in Iceland as well. They must be very resilient against the cold.

Actually the “decorative” cabbages are edible, but they are very tough and bitter. Not that appetizing really. Hmmm. Beautiful on the outside and bitter on the inside……could make for an interesting post….. 🙂
