A heron sighting always feels auspicious to me. I’ve been trying to catch a good photo of one that I see almost daily in my local park, but he’s a cagey fellow. Lovely words and photo.

The Herons around here are just too elusive for me. By the time I am ready to take a photo, they are long gone. I’m either too old, or the Herons are too clever (or both)!
