I’m going to be posting one photo a day with very little words; perhaps a simple sentence or just one word or perhaps just the title. For right now, this is a time for thinking and for doing and maybe not as much for talking. A lesson in simplicity.
Joy
There it is, elusive and silent, it drifts quietly like a bee from rose to rose, content to linger as does the amber pollen on a hummingbird’s wings.
Buds
pink faerie buds waiting to bloom–
tight little fists of candied thoughts and twinkling wishes
Existence
While trying to catch your elusive image, I caught a piece of time. That moment, frozen forever, when you stopped long enough for me to crouch by the yellow flowers. That one tiny moment, otherwise gone, but for this fleeting proof of your existence and of mine.
Thoughts
my thoughts fall, as does the yellow pollen–
blowing gently away with the summer breeze,
landing like golden sugar dust on the dog’s tail
Handful of Happiness
A handful of happiness can make up for an armload of grief.

Your lovely summer snowflakes beckon as the sun warms your smooth stalks, enticing me to pick you and bring you home.
I admire your poisonous beauty from afar, never touching the tiny, treacherous flowers and ferny leaves that would take my breath away forever.
