  3. Hello Sylvia,
The photos featured from both you and your son are absolutely breathtaking. I really enjoy the poems that accompany each post and I would love to learn more about your process. Do you typically write your poems in response to a photo you’ve taken or do you sometimes have the words already in mind and go out shooting for a photo to fit the poetry? I am very pleased that you stumbled across my own work so I can in turn follow your posts. Keep up the great work!

    1. Eleyes, thank you for stopping by spanishwoods. The answer to your question is that I do both. There are times that words come into my mind and I match a photo to the words. Often when I see a photo that my son has taken, I will write to that particular photo. So it just depends on how the wind blows. Thanks so much for your encouragement.

    1. John, you’re so kind to check on me. I’ll be having major surgery the first week of November and so I’ve been preoccupied with health issues, but all will be well. How are you and your family? I do hope you’re well and safe during these science fiction times. Thank you for reaching out my friend.

      1. Your so welcome, Sylvia. I hope and pray your surgery will go well! Be well very soon.

I am doing great, as are my family back in Michigan. It’s so difficult though, I haven’t been able to make my usual two trip home this summer. Still, it could be worse.

Here’s a big hug from a far away desert for you my friend! 🙏🏻😊🌹
