Thinking about things as I wandered the halls of a museum

i think of you a thousand times a day,

i think a thousand things

about the dreams sifted through time

and memory

and heartbeats—

lives running parallel

on this side of my own reality

and in the alternate realities of thousands

    1. Lots of thinking in circles Brian. Sometimes I am delighted by it and sometimes not as much. Although wandering around a beautiful museum and just taking in the architecture of the actual building as well as the art, I think is the perfect atmosphere for circular pondering.

    1. Funny, the things and the people that pop into our thoughts on a regular basis. If we went back years ago, I’m not sure we would have guessed with accuracy which things would stick and which wouldn’t.

  1. A poem to ponder, for sure, Sylvia. Lots of ‘what ifs’ hang out there. I just let a few run through. I’m fortunate in having such a good ‘what is.” And I appreciate it. Deeply. –Curt

  2. Museums are great places to wonder and ask, where did this piece come from, its place in the greater history of things. We’ve visited the Tutankhamen exhibit, the Vatican exhibit, the T-Rex exhibit, and the Navajo exhibit.
