I have harvested cords of barnwood with rusty latch and hinge for repurposing for studio walls, doors, frames, and other creations, in an effort to create a nostalgic, romantic, muse-filled space in which to write and reminisce. And I built walls with old red brick and new cement. Perhaps predictably, I finished just in time to be invited to leave. Now I build only in my mind.
