Too pretty to be weeds. I like the term ‘wild flowers’. 🙂

A friend of mine took one look at all the greenery around my house and said, “you’re going to need a lot of weed killer” which I found very funny and completely irrelevant. I love the “weeds” the “wildflowers” the “fungi” the “wild” animals, all the things alive and dead in these woods around my little house. These wild and weedy flowers are part of those woods. They are actually medicinal, but more than that they are (to me) infinitely beautiful.

I just spent my summer with beautiful ‘weeds’. I’m pretty sure that nature doesn’t make such distinctions. 🙂 –Curt

We have one weed, but it’s a succulent. Must be some sort of cactus variant. It’s become off-limits mower-wise, same for a weed patch that’s produced a pretty purple flower.

Funny how some people can see the beauty in what other’s don’t deem worthy.

I too love the wild flower weeds. Those in the picture are so pretty – like little fairy hats.
