Absolutely stunning photo and sentiment, Sylvia. This is what I love about wildflowers, their resilience season after season. Who pops out of a deep freeze with a cheerful smile on their face?
They persevered and were beautiful after the snow melted. The pansies, the daffodils and the crocus flowers were all ok, but the forsythia, not so much.
❤ So lovely.

After the snow melted, these daffodils stiffened, and stood beautifully in the April sun. Sometimes, it just works out that way….sometimes.
