sunflowers and summer blooms
hand stitched tea towels
8 track tapes
cartons of blueberries
two babies riding in a red wagon
ladies in big straw hats
western paperbacks
blocks of soap
a collection of small, carved elephants
baskets of peaches
twirling ballerinas in pink boxes
a row of parked Harley Davidsons
wedding photos from 1935
Lovely poem. I can see it all as I read π

Great shot too – wonderful variety of colours.

My mother still owns the great big “furniture” type stereo piece that holds an 8 track player inside. I looked through the tapes, just to see what they had. (several Meatloaf, some Bad Company and so ironically, Christian Rock) π

It’s a nice combination of flea and farmers market with the usual group of fascinating people.

Flea marketsβ an excuse to get lost in the trivia of time. I can wander for hours, searching for treasures. Love your list, Sylvia. βCurt

They were amazingly brilliant. And huge. I could not carry my load of tomatoes, and the dog and the flowers at the same time!

I have the fondest memories of going to the flea market in Flemington, New Jersey, as a boy. So many treasures, each with a hidden story.
