August leaves begin to fall, gently and quietly.
I take notice of their crimson coats and feel the curious
compulsion to lick the morning rain from their tender skin.
Almost didn’t recognize you with your new icon! Very nice.
It is mostly still greens here in Pennsylvania and it will remain so until mid to late September. But on my walk yesterday I spotted these red leaves here and there. I’m not sure I ever noticed them before in August. I think the older I get the more sensitive I am to all the things that change.
nice combo of words and image

Hi Sylvia, here too, I’ve already seen few leaves on the floor 😦 You got a great light in there!

Such sensual wording. Fun. Saw my first red leaves this morning on my drive to work.

I love the fall, but there is a slight sadness to see the leaves change.
