One solid thread running beside us,
hanging between us–
linking your life to mine.
So fragile and delicate,
our futures swing, suspended by
colored strings with glitter,
with beads, day dreams and echoes
of long forgotten lullabies.
That photo was taken at a store called Free People. The doilies are a window display. I studied them quite a bit and took MANY photos of them. You could duplicate this effect by buying doilies at a dollar store and spray painting them with paint and glitter. Many of them were strung up with twine and beads. The real secret to the effect is in quantity. Having many clustered in one spot and at different lengths made for a beautiful effect.
Beautiful symmetry of words and image!

Where did you find those hanging doilies. They are exactly what my girls are looking for. Any info would be appreciated.
