tending to your babies the way I tended to mine.
You watch me, watching you, wishing gentle
thoughts and finally, walking away.
That’s true. I was fearful that this nest would be disturbed because it wasn’t far off the ground. But the two babies survived and they all flew away (and lived happily ever after).
