Whilst I can appreciate why galleries ask us not to touch exhibits, it can reduce our experience of artworks such as sculptures where the tactile sense would enrich our enjoyment. Exploring galleries with young children can also be a ‘lively’ experience where ‘touch’ is not allowed – we have had some ‘moments’ 😉

Yes, I agree. I too understand why and I would never do anything to damage art. Those experience with young children can be challenging!
