  1. I was looking for a copy of that book in the big used book barn in Maine (I am cheap!) but did not find it. I guess it is still too new. I found instead her first novel, The Secret History. The writing is solid though I do not care much for the story.

    1. This is her latest book, so you’re right, you won’t find it in a used book store just yet. The Secret History and The Little Friend are her two other books. They’re not for everyone and can be a bit disturbing, perhaps you won’t enjoy the story lines. For me the writing is like long, involved poetry. (And I also enjoy the actual story).
