The legend was that a guy fell into a raging torrent (or over a cliff) while holding forget me nots. He tossed the flowers back to his love and yelled “Forget me not.” My story is a bit different:
The plant develops nasty little burrs that cover your pants, socks and shoelaces if you come anywhere near themβ and they are a pain to remove. Once you’ve done it a few times, you do not forget it! π βCurt
