Yes, you’re right. I have often said to my friends in trying to explain a word I can’t find in English, “but it means more than just the outward meaning” And there are many words in English that do that as well to be sure, but maybe because Spanish is my first language, I don’t know, but the Spanish version of most words seems more emotionally charged.
