Whoa, were you in Venice? I loved that city when I visited decades ago, but nowadays too many other people do, too. The Week had an article this week about over-tourism in all the famous spots and the locals aren’t too happy about it. Too much of a good thing, I guess. 🙂
I was in Venice 23 years ago and it was so beautiful. I loved it there. My husband and my daughter were there last week and are now in Poland. They walked the Camino de Santiago from Portugal to Spain and have continued on to many other European cities. Quite an adventure.
