The color red is completely absent from the winter landscape here. I don’t mind it too much because really, it makes those red tulips in the spring that much more enchanting. But when I saw these berries, it did make me almost absurdly happy.
Oh how lovely. Yes, a little colour in a barren landscape makes all the difference. 🙂
Over here winter is very red as my poinsettia is in full bloom then. 🙂
Oh you are lucky. We won’t see signs of spring until mid to late March. This morning we awoke to a new coating of ice and snow. Although the sun is out today which we haven’t seen in several days.
