*Dear Spanish Woods,* I’m guessing this is a photo of somewhere in North America, or perhaps Canada, it looks beautiful wherever it is. I love being far away from civilization and in harmony with the wild creatures who live there. If I had my own way, I would ban any type of hunting altogether, and to think, they actually call it sport. Well I call it the murder of innocent animals. Anyway, I’m sorry to sound so sombre, as I love to look at all your beautiful photos on this cool site. I , am not a writer myself, but would really like to put pen to paper. Anyway, I’ll go now and leave you to all your good work. *Yours Sincerely,* *Wm Mclaughlan*.
Perhaps instead we have lost ourselves and so lost each other…
but to me this photo speaks of rejuvenation and peace. I live near the Yough… beautiful capture.
Schönes Bild. Toll

Thank you for visiting these woods today. This photo was taken on the Youghiogheny River in Pennsylvania.

It’s truly beautiful, so pleasant and not a building to be seen.

As Jodi said above, there is always a glimmer and of course it can be found in nature. You are lucky to live near such a beautiful river.
