Sometimes I think it’s so sad that we can carry our sorrows in our pockets and they follow us everywhere. But sometimes I also think that in a very strange way, it’s rather beautiful. And I know this may sound bizarre, but keeping it safe and close brings me a dark comfort. I can’t explain this feeling any other way. The years pass, but grief keeps me company. And there are times when that company is welcome.
That reminds me of a pastor I saw years ago who said sometimes we enjoy the familiarity of sorrow, that we like to go back and “dip into it,” and I find that I do that. Dip right into it so we don’t forget it had meaning.
Unique shot, nice!

Yes…life can be so dark sometimes.
But every sunset leads to another sunrise…
Change never ends.
Keep one eye on the horizon ok…
