It was edible at one time, but she glazed it in order to preserve it. So it’s no longer edible. But still, quite beautiful. We decorated gingerbread houses from our friend’s gingerbread that she assembles for all the kids in the neighborhood. The actual gingerbread is so, so very good. It’s a wonderful tradition and I admire her stamina!
I’d be working my way through that candy house. 🙂 In fact I was stealing gumdrops off the roof of ours. “Bad Grandpa” one of the grandkids observed. -Curt
