Marbles have a unique place in history. An elderly woman found her husband’s collection. She asked me if I knew anything about them. Twenty hours of research provided a journey into a beautiful world alongside wonderful people. The early marbles were made by true artists, incredible.

Yes, it was fun. In fact, Marie doesn’t know this, I’m building her a display case to show off the loveliest ones. There will be an ID info and value tag for each row.

Marbles are so special. They evoke childhood memories and are beautiful to look at, especially lots together! I too have a big jar filled with them…my children’s when they were little. Thanks for the lovely words and picture, it stirred lots of memories.
